Brothers, Jason and Ryan Chong did our
club proud when the duo represented the
country's junior squad at the 4th Korean
Open Championship held from the 3rd to the
5th of July 2001 in Chung Cheong. A total
of over 800 participants from 60 countries
participated in this tournament.
Jason Chong won a silver medal for the
country by beating Australia in the first
round, Indonesia in the quarter-finals and
Russia in the semi-finals but lost to Korea
in the finals on superiority.
Ryan Chong however returned home empty
handed after losing to Korea in the quarter
finals.
